Bride Checklist For The Wedding Day

Are you going to be getting married sometime in the near future and are you either starting to plan your wedding or in the midst of your wedding planning already? Are you possibly almost ready for the big day, but hoping to find a way to make sure your wedding day plans go as smoothly and as gracefully as you have planned? Have you ever even considered the possibility of a wedding day checklist to help ease your mind and make it easier to focus on your own personal preparations on your big day? It is truly a good idea and you should likely find that you feel so much freer to do what you should be doing on your wedding day rather than fretting about silly things like whether or not someone is picking up the wedding cake from the bakery. Your big day is about you getting married to the person you love and cherish so that you can spend your life together in sweet and loving matrimony. It is not a day to worry about if you have forgotten any irrelevant details. A wedding day checklist will help you to make sure that everything is in place so that you can go out there on your big day and get married with confidence!

Your maid of honor should really be the one fielding this one with you and your bridesmaids should be ready to immediately handle any situation that arises! Make sure that your maid of honor and bridesmaids are as available and dependable as possible. They really are a big help if you can truly rely on your bridal entourage to come to your rescue whenever possible. Treat them well and make sure you thank them appropriately with a sweet gift after the wedding has successfully completed.

While every bridal checklist will likely be rather unique as each bride's plans are also, there are still many things that will likely be shared across all weddings done in a "White Wedding" style common in the west. If you are having a wedding of any other type then you should almost certainly make a bridal checklist for your wedding day also. Some of items that will be included will likely be present in just about any wedding ceremony.

Let's take a look at some of the items you may want to include on your bridal checklist.

1. Breathe. Breathe deep and relax, everything is going to be okay. Remind yourself to breathe deeply and relax whenever you get flustered or in a hurry on your big day.

2. Rings. Make sure someone brings the rings to the ceremony!

3. Marriage License (or equivalent). Make sure to have the marriage license with you and also double-check any info on it to verify it is correct.

4. Something old, something new. You may want to remind yourself to bring any items your cultural background associates with weddings as sentimentally necessary items to bring to the wedding ceremony. Regardless of if you do it for tradition, sentimentality, or any other reason, make sure to remember it so you won't worry about not having it.

5. Wedding gown and accessories. Obviously make sure you bring your wedding gown and all of your accessories necessary for your wardrobe on your big day.

This is just a few of the items you may want to include, but hopefully it is a good start! You will likely have many more items to add to your own bridal checklist, so make sure you start one as soon as possible!
